Work with Maiwand FC

If your organisation runs youth, settlement, health or sport programmes in Auckland, we would like to hear from you. Partnerships can be as simple as sharing a field or as involved as running a programme together.

Al-Zahra Youth Camp

A five-day residential camp on Motutapu Island that Maiwand FC backs alongside the Al-Zahra Association.

Connect. Grow. Inspire.

Five days on Motutapu Island

Run by the Al-Zahra Association, the Youth Camp takes young adults out of the city for five days and four nights at the Motutapu Outdoor Education Camp in the Hauraki Gulf. Days mix workshops, discussion and team-building with kayaking, rock climbing, snorkelling, bush walks and high ropes.

Maiwand FC supports the camp because it does off the field what we try to do on it: bring young people from our community together, give them something to push themselves at, and send them home with friendships that last past the week.
